Raising Her Voice!

(EST, UTC-05) (EST, UTC-05)

Kasser Theater, Montclair State University, 1 Normal Ave Hall, Suite 171, Montclair, NJ 07043

Featuring "Undivided" by Karen Marrolli.

Raising Her Voice! continues our choral program tradition of ‘artivism’ by leveraging Crawford Concert funding to present music by living composers focused on subjects of social and artistic importance. It is our attempt to constructively move the needle on the issue of gender equity while exploring music that addresses issues that matter in today’s world. Historically, women have been underrepresented in many areas of music, most notably in the professional arenas of composition, conducting, instrumental performance (especially brass and percussion), production, and arts administration/management

Inspired Choir Summit

 —  —

I’m delighted to share that I will be featured on the inaugural Inspired Choir Summer Summit, coming up this July 24-26. The Inspired Choir Summer Summit is a virtual, summit-style event where choral composers are sharing all about their compositions. The goal is that you’ll be inspired to more effectively teach, perform, or consume new works with your ensembles! Colleen and I talked about my piece "Love, Come Down," and I hope you can "join" us virtually for this conversation, which will be on day 1 of the summit. You can register for free for Day 1, at which time you can choose to purchase an all access pass if you want all of the content.

Free Ticket for Day 1; all access pass for an additional fee
